Raise the Sail 2023

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Michigan, Raise the Sail beckons all sailing enthusiasts and supporters to come together on November 11, 2023, for a night of maritime magic. Hosted aboard the magnificent clubship, Abegweit, this annual fundraising gala is a cherished tradition that fuels the aspirations of the Columbia Sailing School, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to spreading the love of sailing far and wide.

As the sun sets, guests will embark on a culinary journey curated by the esteemed Executive Chef Elijah Pulley. A sumptuous family-style dinner will be served, featuring a Harvest Salad adorned with beets, sweet potato, Brussels sprouts, and a tantalizing Maple Mustard Dressing. The main course promises to tantalize taste buds with Smoked Beef Brisket drizzled in a zesty Red Pepper Chimichurri and succulent Roasted Chicken bathed in a Leek Butter Sauce.
